In this episode, Argentina superfan Cyril Heffesse joins Max to breakdown matchday 8 of the World Cup: Denmark 1 x 1 Australia, France 1 x 0 Peru, Croatia 3 x 0 Argentina.  The guys discuss all the games, but spend extra time talking Argentina’s woes and if there’s a way forward for this team.  As always, the guys select the day’s best game, goal, save, celebration, hairstyle, tattoos, and acting performance.

Matchday 7 Recap

In this episode, Max and Reed discuss a hard-fought day of 1-0 wins: Portugal 1 x 0 Morocco, Uruguay 1 x 0 Saudi Arabia, Spain 1 x 0 Iran.  The guys discuss the first 3 teams eliminated from the World Cup, and how groups A and B look going into the final round.  Of course, the guys also select best game, goal, save, and acting performance, while also previewing our group A and B leanings for our new fan competition.  Lastly, we adlib a new award category: best gutsy somersault, and decrree that all World Cup throw-ins should be delivered via somersault.
