this is kinda a bait and switch podcast. It's good history but not very not much about pirates. it's basically a 1400-1800 all things history podcast. most episodes have nothing to do with pirates.

Very interesting and informative. I had to unsubscribe, though, because the excessive overuse of “poignant pauses” began to drive me insane. Alas.
