Once again, Gavin disappears into the woods at night. But this time a storm has moved in. While he's gone, Noah visits Delilah in her room. It doesn't take long before Delilah is uncovering the mystery of the taped up photos in the living room. Meanwhile, Val finds something he can use as a splint at the bottom of the pool. But then he rests and thinks back on his talks with a friendly pastor.

Delilah is suspicious of Gavin and wants to have a look around the woods. She goes exploring, even though Gavin doesn't approve. She makes her way to the cliff with the view of the lighthouse, and there, she believes she sees someone. But when she makes her way to the lighthouse, she finds the door locked and no one around. Was she just seeing things? Meanwhile, Val is immobile, cold, and in pain. He wants to check the bodies at the bottom of the pool. But how can he now?

Can he climb over twenty feet to escape the confines of the cave? Meanwhile, Delilah continues searching the beach. At night she comes back to the house to find Gavin leaving and heading into the woods. Where could he be possibly going so late at night?

Gavin wakes Delilah to tell her of the terrible news: Val drunkenly fell off a rocky cliff to his doom. Caught off guard and completely distraught she goes searching for Val. But it doesn't take long before she truly questions what Gavin is telling her. Meanwhile, Val finds himself falling through a cave into an icy pool, tied to a rock. Can he get out in time before he drowns??

Gavin invites Val to a friendly drink which puts Val on edge.

She ends up talking to Gavin in an effort to relieve the pain, but all Gavin does is make things awkward. Eventually Dee goes looking for Val, hoping they can make up and move on. At night, Val and Gavin have an intense stare down after Val is told he must sleep on the couch.

Based on an old script, this thriller will center on a married couple trying to rekindle their relationship after a tragic past event. They are to set sail across the Atlantic, but sadly things don't go according to plan.

Once again things are awkward between John and Chase and John isn't exactly sure why. While resting on the side of the road in Tennessee, John thinks about screenwriting again. He tells Chase of a story that he wrote back in highschool. Maybe something he could eventually revisit? Things seem to be getting better... until the night they sleep outside a police station. The next morning, John gets an unexpected surprise. The walk is about to change again.

The walking doesn't get easier when the group has a bad run-in with some railroad police that kick them out of their camping spot. With tension high it doesn't take long before Chase and Liz are fighting once again. But this time... the fight becomes so much worse.

It's been a long month but the group is almost to Idaho. With only two miles left until the border, Chase is adamant about reaching a new state, but the rest of the group is tired. Instead, they sleep one more night in Washington. This doesn't sit well with Chase. The next morning during breakfast, while Chase and Liz are refilling their water supply, John tells Anders his secret.

A couple days pass as the group waits out the snowstorm in a small hostel. They're able to find someone to drive them back to Rainy Pass so they can make-up their walk (No cheating!). Afterwards, they jump back on the road and head to Grand Coulee. While in Grand Coulee, John gets some depressing news.

While resting outside a small convenience store, John and Liz discuss writing, the walk, and John's creativity. Days later they make it high up into the mountains, only to be stalled by heavy snow, which forces them to make a difficult decision.

Washington State to Key West. Roughly 3,500 miles. No cars, no hitchhiking. Just walking.
