Jede Woche stellt die SWR1 Musikredaktion ein Meisterwerk der Rock- und Popmusik vor.
Queen, Ed Sheeran, Adele, die Rolling Stones, die Beatles, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan uvm. – sie alle haben mit ihren Pop- und Rock-Alben Musikgeschichte geschrieben und längst den Status „Legenden“ erreicht. Wir holen sie wieder hervor, die größten Alben aller Zeiten. Die Platten, mit denen sich Künstler wie Creedance Clearwater Revival, die Eagles oder Fleetwood Mac unsterblich gemacht haben. Jeden Montag gibt es eine neue Folge.
Dabei schaut das Team der SWR1 Musikredaktion hinter die Kulissen. Was war los in der Zeit, als dieser Meilenstein der Musikgeschichte veröffentlicht wurde – bei den Musikern und in der Welt. Was macht gerade dieses Album so besonders? Was sind die Hintergründe und wie sind sie produziert worden, die Platten, die uns immer wieder über den Weg laufen? Welche jungen Künstler haben sie beeinflusst und von wem wurden sie selbst beeinflusst? Bei uns gibt’s die Geschichten hinter den Alben, die Geschichte machten.
