I really enjoyed this podcast for the first 8 episodes but then I found myself getting really irritated with Melissa Moore's constant whining and her unconscious effort to make this podcast all about her, a little misleading given the title

huge reply-all fan here and also listener too many shows like criminal so you would think this podcast would be my jam. Objectively, this podcast is very well produced and the audio production is great. that having been said that, this podcast is almost unlistenable. it's not just that the subject matter is dark. is that the whole town is very moist and lifeless and I really cannot force myself to care one bit about any of the characters. maybe that's because the two main characters are sociopaths.
