Louise Ward is a former police officer and teacher, now co-owner of Wardini Books in Havelock North and Napier, finally putting that English Literature degree to relevant use. She shares the book shops with author husband Gareth, well known locally as magician and hypnotist The Great Wardini. As Gareth usually gets all the glamorous jobs and Louise does the admin, she's thrilled to have this opportunity to be on the radio. Louise sells books by day, and reads them by night; she claims to be living the dream.
