In reference to fast food and fast fashion, the narrators imply the blame belongs to the consumer and not the creators causing the problem. As with the idea that Americans are the reason drug dealers keep making and selling drugs for a living. People do things to make money. I think it's really easy for podcasters to point blame on consumers, and I thinks its bush league to turn a podcast into a finger-wagging, soap box session.
