to the most common wrongly done, life-altering mistakes in tummy tucks,
the high scars. Listen in and hear if you or someone you know has had a
bad tummy tuck and what you can do to correct it or avoid it if you are

Preparing For Plastic Surgery
1850
Before getting plastic surgery, many want to know what they need to do to prepare for their surgery, but only 1 to 2 percent ever do something. In this episode, Dr. Rady Rahban introduces us to his patient Katelyn. She prepared for her procedure and, much to his surprise, got fit before her operation. This housewife with three children met Dr. Rady for a tummy tuck a year ago, but he recommended a partial body lift due to her excess skin. She was too skinny because she did not have enough muscle causing her skin to be flabby. Although she was disappointed with his recommendation, she prepared and got fit a year after her first consult.

Join Dr. Rady as his patient tells us about her journey and how she was able to downsize her procedure and get a tummy tuck after all. Do you have what it takes to get ready and fit to get the optimum results? Another fascinating episode of Plastic Surgery Uncensored.

Skin Cancer & Treatment Options
1786
Today there is a lot more awareness about skin cancer and treatments than 20 years ago.  Doctors are better prepared to treat skin cancer, but what happens when the cancer cell is on your face.  What are your options, and who should you go to treat it from beginning to end?  Dr. Rady Rahban talks to one of his patients, Bernadette, who developed skin cancer right on her nose. She couldn’t imagine having a dime size scar right in front and center of her face.

Join Dr. Rady Rahban as he explains the differences between the treatments for cancer when it develops on your body to when it grows on your face.  Many experts who treat skin cancer remove it and then close it themselves or have one of their team members close it, but is that the optimal option? It might be the easiest and quickest way to deal with it, but it isn’t always the best option.  Bernadette takes us on her journey and tells us how and why she decided to see a plastic surgeon to close and fix her scar once her cancer was removed.   It’s an episode you won’t want to miss.

Gelena Solano; A Family's Burden
1541
When deciding to get plastic surgery, you tend not to think about anyone but yourself and your desire to look good. The reality is that the decisions we make with our lives have a severe impact on our families. How can you stop an adult family member who is determined to risk their life from getting a dangerous procedure with unscrupulous doctors? You don’t want to miss this eye-opening episode where Dr. Rady and Gelena delve into her story and discuss what is the right level of involvement to help a family member avoid making possibly the worst decision of their life.

Unrealistic Expectations From Social Media + What To Do About It
1362
Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Rady Rahban, and Social Media Manager, Hayley Greenberg, discuss how apps and social media lead to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and eating disorders in our youth.

With the click of a button, or by using a filter, anyone can easily change the contour of their nose, the color of their eyes, the tone of their skin, the shape of their body, and the symmetry of their face. Dr. Rahban and Hayley discuss "This Generation's Drug" and what we can do about it.

Thank you to Hayley Greenberg for joining us and sharing her expertise. Follow Hayley at www.Instagram.com/Hayley_Greenberg or find out more about her at www.HayleyGreenberg.com

Joselyn Cano's Last Recorded Interview

This is the exclusive interview that Dr. Rady Rahban recorded in September 2020 with one of his former lip revision patients, Joselyn Cano. Sadly, Joselyn was never able to hear her episode because of her untimely passing from complications during a surgery she did in Colombia in December 2020 .

Out of respect to Joselyn and her family we decided to hold off posting this episode until now...

We hope by sharing her story we can bring honor to her life and hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. Here now is Joselyn Cano’s last recorded interview.

Today there is a lot more awareness about skin cancer and treatments than there was 20 years ago. Doctors are better prepared to treat skin cancer but what happens when the cancer cell is on your face. What are your options and who should you go to, to treat it from beginning to end? Dr. Rady talks to one of his patients, Bernadette who developed skin cancer right on her nose. She couldn’t imagine have a dime size scar right in front and center of her face. Join Dr. Rady as he explains the differences between the treatments for cancer when it develops on your body to when it grows on your face. Many experts who treat skin cancer remove it and then close it themselves or have one of their team members close it, but is that really the optimal option? It might be the easiest and quickest way to deal with it but it isn’t always the best option. Bernadette takes us on her journey and tells us how and why she decided to see a plastic surgeon to close and fix her scar once her cancer was removed.  It’s an amazing episode you won’t want to miss.

S1E15: Avoiding the Unavoidable: Aging and Plastic Surgery
1330
There comes a day when the face looking back at us in the mirror is not the one from our youth, for better or for worse (though usually the latter). However, with the help of good genes, good lifestyle choices and a little bit of plastic surgery, a mature face can be just as beautiful as a youthful one. From brow sag to cheek hallowing, eyelid wrinkling to turkey neck, the passage of time takes a toll on our portraits and plastic surgeons are here to lessen that toll. Join Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Rady Rahban as he discusses the effects of aging and the role Plastic Surgery can play in it.

S1E2: The 411 of Plastic Surgery
2052
From flat-out lies to false reviews, social media scammers to unqualified doctors, “plastic surgeons” use a number of tricks just to make a buck. Join Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Rady Rahban and cohost Monique Marvez as they interview a patient who fell right into these traps. Dr. Rady hopes to open your eyes and prepare you for one of the most important decisions you will make regarding your body.
