[Ep.34] Self Confidence comes from within
00:58:00
Trusting in one's own abilities and believing in one's own value is something that cannot be created or built. Self confidence comes about naturally by resolving inner conflicts and allowing any outer conditions to transpire. Trying to change your circumstances without first working on your inner world is futile and only leads to people living a charade. By becoming conscious of our inner processes we come to find a treasure trove inside of us which then enables us to easily and peacefully interact with the outside world. |

[Ep.33] A traumatised collective heals through individual awakening
01:02:56
Mental distress in adults can often be traced back to their childhood. The underlying traumatic experience in the past has been suppressed so that every-day life can continue in a more or less normal way. There are indications of a society-wide trauma complex that causes the majority of us to remain subdued and obedient to authoritarianism our entire lives. But it is so subtle and unconscious that we have become blind and acquiescent to ongoing oppression. Who will discover this hidden snare in their psyche and consciously step out of it? |

[Ep.32] You shouldn't should - The toxicity of expectations and absolutes
00:48:25
How much of your behaviour comes from your freely made decisions? And how much of your every-day life is run by subconscious programs? From day one we are influenced by the actions and inactions of people around us. They inadvertently, and sometimes deliberately, shape our perspective and thereby our reasoning and decision-making. Can we rise to a level of consciousness that allows us to view these subliminal messages from the outside without being invested in them? Or are we doomed to repeat the cycle and unwittingly pass them on to the next generation? |

[Ep.31] Learning to differentiate thoughts, emotions and sensations
00:54:54
We have thousands of thoughts and feelings each and every day. How many of them are we aware of? How many of them remain subconscious and unnoticed? Are you content with the thought patterns installed in your subconscious and the resulting emotions? Do they work in your favour and motivate your to take productive actions and experience pleasant sensations? Or do you feel like the victim of your own brain without the necessary control to freely make your own decisions? Learning to identify and distinguish these inner workings is an important step to this end. |

[Ep.30] Choose your own Purpose in Life
00:58:47
Are you free to create your own path in life? Or are you following a script? Everyone is in both situations to one degree or another. The more we choose to drop beliefs about who we SHOULD be and what we SHOULD be doing with our time and energy, though, the more we are free to choose our own values, goals and methods of achieving them. This process is one way of filling our life and those of others with purpose and meaning. |

[Ep.28] Our Instinct for Revenge
01:07:17
How would you react if you or a loved one were to be violated? Would you be blinded by rage, seeking nothing less than brutal vengeance? Or would you be able to distance yourself from that terrible experience and be content with the judicial process taking its course? Could you ever forgive the perpetrator? Or would his cruel act leave a vexing mark on your soul forever? In today's episode Steven and I discuss these and related questions and what we learn about our internal nature in response to outward experiences of undeserved crisis. |

[Ep.27] A Civilisation in Perpetual Fear and Uncertainty
01:03:24
How is it possible that billions of people are more likely to believe something that has no scientific foundation just because persons in position of authority say it is the case? What is it about our psychological make-up that makes us susceptible to such assertions, be they be politicians, journalists or doctors, even if such figures have proven to be untrustworthy multiple times before? Mr. INTP and I talk about our observations and speculate about possible causes for mass deception, partcularly in the covid era. |

[Ep.26] Love is Love - Diversity in Sexuality
00:51:07
How much contact have you had with the LGBTQ+ community? William and Steve talk about their experiences and compare their views. It is important to become educated on this topic so as to avoid and confront marginalisation and persecution. Humanity is slowly opening up to integrating world views that make room for non-heterosexual persons. But there is still plenty of room for improvement and learning how such aspects of sexuality make up our individual and societal identity. |

[Ep.23] Left and Right, Unite! Unite!
01:04:45
Today Steven and William discuss their views on the political division into the left and right wings. They argue that this differentiation is unnecessary and artificial, as both groups have much to offer, but to solve different problems. This insight underlines how they should complement each other, rather than get at each other's throats. |

[Ep.22] Intuition is Perception via the Unconcious
00:43:39
Today Falk Kastell helps me better understand what intuition is and how it can work in every-day life. William's heavy intellectual propensity makes it a challenge for him to come to terms with subconscious signals and relying on them to make decisions. [Ep.19] I know that I know nothing
01:01:18
Today Mr. INTP and I talk about the relation between reality and our capacity to grasp it, how our knowledge of the world is based on the scientific method, and how common it is for you and me to base our entire thinking and decision-making on theories that may be internally consistent but are not provably true; they have merely not been falsified... yet. |

[Ep.18] The Truth Shall Set You Free
01:23:55
Kade Roundy and I follow up on our previous discussion (Ep. 10) about the principles of libertarian, government, war, ethics and societal values. We approach these topics in the context of humanity's vulnerability to deception. People's beliefs and behaviours can be manipulated by messages of false history, false news-reporting, false scientific publishing, etc. Through various historic examples and personal experiences we reason about ways to rise above the lies and perceive the world in its true form. |

Follow us on an adventure of travelling through treacherous terrotories including the icy desert of futuristic Northern Africa. |

[Ep.17] Is Prosperity Good Or Bad?
01:01:28
Today we discuss how different approaches to wealth and the accrual of wealth can be a two-edged sword. Are you getting rich by exploiting other people? We consider how our psychology towards money can have a great effect on our well-being and direction in life. |

If you are affected, how can you turn a seeming weakness such as OCD to your own advantage, in order to develop yourself into something greater? |

[Ep.13] The Illusion of Choice
00:59:09
We often perceive a plethora of options and choices to be freeing and empowering. But not only is this relative to our cultural expectations, it can even be counter-productive to be confronted with too many things to choose from. Our discussion of realities and illusions concerning freedom of choice is based on the TED talk "The art of choosing" by Sheena Iyengar (see link below). |

[Ep.12] Consequences of type 1 and type 2 errors in RNA testing
01:01:52
The PCR method has been abused to test for Covid-19 by exaggerating the method's number of amplification cycles. The degree to which human genetic material is thus magnified leads to the test being overly sensitive and sky-rocketing its false postive rate. Should this cause concern for the centralisation of political power over our economies that has been justified by saving the lives of citizens, or are the lockdowns worth the risk? Type 1 and type 2 errors: |
