Description

Between, Across, and Through is the official podcast of the Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies at the University of Toronto. The Centre’s research focuses on individual experiences of migration in consideration of the complex dynamics of politics, culture, and society. Our podcast features conversations between leading scholars and Professor Kevin Lewis O’Neill, the director of the Centre of Diaspora and Transnational Studies. In each episode, we discuss the links that bind humanity, how we learn from the past, and how we learn from each other.

Our podcast's name is inspired by the Greek word for diaspora, which is composed of the verb speirō, meaning "to scatter," and dia, defined as "between, across, through.”
