141. Perspectives Directly from Ukraine and Russia’s Governments
01:26:42

In this episode, I spoke with two members of the government, one in Ukraine and one in Russia. I don’t believe these guys necessarily have the view of an average Russian or Ukrainian. However, they do represent people in their countries.

First I spoke with Sviatoslav Yurash, Ukraine’s youngest-ever MP. Sviatoslav is currently defending Ukraine from the ongoing Russian invasion and gives his perspective on the war and what it really looks like on the ground in Kyiv. He has an impressive story. He is deeply involved in the government and has been involved in the war between Russia and Ukraine for years. He is the former Euromaidan press centre organizer (which was the group that protested and eventually ousted Ukraine’s pro-Russian president in 2014. Sviatoslav was the senior spokesperson for the current president Zelensky's 2019 presidential election campaign. Sviatoslav is currently in Kyiv and has taken up arms against the Russian military.

I then spoke with Nikolai Burlyayev, a member of State Duma (an elected government official), First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Civil Society, Public and Religious Association Issues, and member of the Orthodox Patriarchal Council for Culture. He is also a Russian theatre and cinema actor, laureate of 50 international film festivals including Venice, Cannes, San Francisco, and Acapulco, an Oscar nominee for the lead part in Pyotr Todorovsky's "Wartime Romance", and President of the Golden Vityaz Internationals Film Forum. Member of the State Duma. He came on to give the Russian government’s perspective on the war.

As you guys might know, I have a lot of Russian friends and my 4-year-old daughter is half Russian. We were going to be there in the summer. Russian doctors saved my dad. I had some negative feedback about giving a platform to the government of an invading country, but I believe in untrammeled freedom of speech and letting people think for themselves. I'm not interested in contributing to censorship. Shutting down RT (Russia Today, the government news source) like some platforms have I think is a mistake. Russia blocking Facebook and Twitter is a mistake. This war is brutal and nobody knows what it’s going to turn into, but not being aware of what Russian citizens are being told is not the way to go in my opinion.

134. Opposing Views: Is Critical Race Theory Solving Anything? | James Lindsay & Vaush - MP Podcast
01:51:40

In this episode of Opposing Views, James Lindsay and Ian Kochinski, better known as Vaush, joined me to discuss Critical Race Theory.

We covered a range of topics surrounding CRT, starting of course with what it is and what it’s trying to solve, where it’s being taught, the agenda behind it, and what we can do about it. But we also touch on related topics like social biases, anti-capitalism, and the idea of whiteness / the over-focus on race that’s so prevalent today.

James Lindsay is an American author, mathematician, and political commentator. He is known for having co-authored a series of hoax papers for social science journals, perhaps the best-known being “The Conceptual Penis as a Social Construct” and the one where “unwanted humping” at dog parks was observed day in and day out, resulting in an informed breakdown of how men would benefit from being trained like dogs.

Vaush is an American left-wing YouTuber known for his advocating libertarian market socialism. He has popular debates on his channel as well, often against other YouTubers.

[52:47] What is Critical Race Theory and what is it trying to solve?
[54:00] Where C.R.T. comes from and is it just a way to get Marxism into America?
[54:55] "When we talk about young people, like middle schoolers being taught critical race theory, it's kind of like saying they are being taught astrophysics because they are learning about arithmetic." - Vaush
[55:45] Why is it necessary to teach this to children?
[57:15] Redlining and social biases
[58:43] What are the solutions?
[59:13] "The goal should be total freedom for everyone. Everyone should be elevated; you never want to fix a systemic problem by dragging one group down." - Vaush
[01:03:54] Is C.R.T. Marxism disguised and taking over the states?
[01:04:18] Mikhaila’s problem with C.R.T. and why don’t we focus on the actual issues, instead of race?
[01:08:00] Isn't it better to teach people how to overcome disadvantages instead of teaching the victim mentality?
[01:11:08] The agenda of the people teaching C.R.T.
[01:11:59] In regards to C.R.T. being taught in middle school. "The issue is a lot of this stuff is just, let's be real, being taught by over-earnest white progressive Karen's."
[01:14:09] C.R.T. in corporations
[01:14:33] E.S.G. scores
[01:23:58] Is C.R.T. wrapped up with Gender studies in kindergarteners?
[01:24:40] C.R.T. and Equality of opportunity
[01:28:34] Does teaching C.R.T. reduce racism?
[01:32:00] What fighting against racism looks like.
[01:36:52] Is the amount of time to educate people about fairness worth it?
[01:42:28] What's the anti-capitalism solution?
[01:45:46] Is the way education is being presented in college manipulating to students?

131. Rollo Tomassi on the Mikhaila Peterson Podcast
02:03:32

In this episode, Mikhaila has author and influencer from the manosphere, Rollo Tomassi, on the podcast. Rollo has used Mikhaila as an example in videos about women, including a fairly direct comparison between her and a murderer.

After quite directly detailing her issues with that portrayal, Mikhaila steers into a longer conversation about Tomassi's theories on men and women—the same ones he offers in The Rational Male book series.

Did you know that, if Harvard didn’t limit enrollment, 43% of their students would be Asian American?

In this episode, Mikhaila hosts Kenny Xu, author of the new book An Inconvenient Minority. Xu is likewise the President of the race-blind advocacy group Color Us United, and the host of the Inconvenient Minority podcast, where he battles elite "woke" narratives with groundbreaking discussions about race, identity, and culture that challenge the Left and the Right.

Mikhaila and Kenny Xu cover the shift in incentives that have been taking place in the public education system, which Xu sees as revolving around two conflicting terms: meritocracy and critical race theory. As an Asian American, Xu’s own university experience is a testament to how a fixation on equality of outcome has led to trivializing curriculums, the cheapening of hard work, and terms as outlandish as “inclusive math.”

[00:00] Intro
[2:20] Welcoming Kenny Xu
[03:15] Defining meritocracy and critical race theory (CRT). How have they entered public education in the US?
[03:20] “Meritocracy is the idea that no matter your background, you should be judged based on your merits, skills, and [what] you can contribute" - Kenny Xu
[04:12] “CRT subdivides people into categories of privileged or oppressed based on their race. Whites are at the top… and people of color at the bottom" - KX
[06:07] “I just use Asian Americans as an example to prove it's not race [or] skin color that creates their position in society, but where they are culturally, what merit they have, and what they bring to the table" - KX
[06:34] The origins of CRT
[08:15] What is the end goal of CRT? What does teaching it ultimately accomplish?
[09:52] “The goal of CRT is to deconstruct society and build again from the ashes" - KX
[11:19] What’s CRT’s plan for our existing societal system? What are some common teachings?
[13:46] What is “white adjacency”?
[15:44] “The term... refers to the benefits of being white leaking onto those that act more ‘white,’ like successful Asian Americans" - KX
[17:11] What were Xu's initial reactions in college as he was taught CRT? A long history of hard work, dismissed
[21:33] Are there better solutions or theories than CRT?
[22:12] “We need a ban on racial preferences in all colleges, schools, and universities because [they provide] all the wrong incentives" - KX
[23:33] The history of race-based preference at Harvard
[29:27] Xu shares his personal experience as an English major turned math major. Why race-based schooling is more racist than meritocracies
[30:13] “I believe you could have just as rigorous of a philosophy curriculum in universities as a math or science curriculum. They purposely dumb down these majors because universities [care about] good graduation rates" - KX
[33:21] “In an effort to be anti-racist, [CRT] actually ends up becoming racist" - KX
[33:31] Poor Asian immigrants challenging the boundaries of the education system
[34:51] They have “a willingness to go outside the bounds and limitations of the public education system" - KX
[37:05] Has CRT made its way into almost every form of education by now?
[38:47] The creation of industry to support new CRT material
[38:54] What was Xu's main goal in writing An Inconvenient Minority?
[42:35] China, the Soviet Union, and what happens when education follows a political agenda
[46:54] What on earth is inclusive math?
[51:20] How can we give young people a pathway to success?
[54:07] The value of a smart mentor
[55:26] What's next for Kenny Xu?

[08:00] Are vaccine passports the end of COVID? Or the beginning of a new, more terrible stage of restrictions?
[09:29] “[It’s] something like a health passport. That passport becomes the gateway to a digital I.D. that's connected to your ability to participate in society, so it’s the beginning of a social credit system" James Lindsay
[11:18] The pandemic is being used to install social control" JL
[13:28] What is James' response to people who believe that the social credit system is a convoluted conspiracy theory?
[18:24] What could be the reason for a more global social credit system?

[1:03:10] What’s the ethical impact of a vaccine passport?
[1:03:15] "You're gonna need to have some way to prove you're vaccinated if we're gonna have freedom to travel. The biggest reason to get a vaccine passport going is because many countries are saying you can't come in here unless you are vaccinated" Arthur Caplan
[01:03:57] Travel options for people who don't want to be vaccinated?
[01:05:45] Addressing the concern that passports are the start of a social credit-type system

[01:07:00] "People are constantly saying to me that they don't want a vaccine passport because people will know where they are. You know what this cell phone does? It transmits every minute where I am to a slew of people" AC
[01:08:00] What are the current COVID-19 restrictions in NYC?
[01:11:59] Are there valid concerns with using a vaccine that was researched and developed so quickly? "Warp speed" manufacturing after the promise of guaranteed payment from the US government

[02:37] Introducing guests Peter Pischke and Sally Satel
[05:59] What is the opioid crisis? How did it get started?
[09:07] “Just between 2020 and 2021, we've hit our highest number in a year yet for deaths, which was about 90,000 related to opioid addiction” - Peter Pischke
[11:02] Peter shares his personal story of addiction and recovery from opioid use
[14:25] Mikhaila shares her experience with painkillers for childhood arthritis and the difficult choice between using a habit-forming drug or feeling miserable day in and day out
[15:21] "It's like woah, I'm in a lot of pain, I full-on have an autoimmune disorder and there's a reason I need these pain killers, and in the moment it's the difference between being in chronic pain or sleeping but being on a pain medication that is dependency forming" - Mikhaila Peterson
[15:54] Sally’s experience working at a methadone clinic in Washington DC
[20:36] “Some of our patients say they can't handle this on their own and get on a replacement medication for the opioids. And this is not the right medical analogy, but metaphorically it might be like taking insulin: it's just a medication you take every day. Some people do get off completely, but those are the more rare cases"- Sally Satel
[21:02] “It takes a long time to repair your life, and people use drugs for a reason” - Sally Satel
[22:40] The mixture of drugs in many cases of overdose. The difficulty in prescribing necessary meds post-2016 legislation restricting doctors’ ability to prescribe certain drugs
[34:39] The extreme pressure on doctors to see more and more patients. Its effect on prescribed patient care
[39:35] Dependence-forming medications
[44:05] American culture and the constant war between addicts and legitimate patients in legislature and treatment
[51:53] “It could well be that many people on high-dose opioids today didn't need to be on that high of a dose [...] That's all true, but once you’re on a high dose that’s working, and you want to stay on it, to me it's unconscionable that doctors would take you off of it” - Sally Satel

Dr. Andrew Dessler is a professor of Atmospheric Sciences at Texas A&M. He wrote The Science and Politics of Global Climate Change: A Guide to the Debate, explaining how science is (mis)used in politics.

[0:00] Intro
[04:25] Intro to Alex Epstein
[05:50] Epstein's views on climate change and the impact of humans
[07:15] “The current benefits of burning fossil fuels outweigh the negative side effects" Alex Epstein
[09:30] Should we be transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy?
[11:20] “The modern anti-fossil fuel movement that says that rising CO2 levels are an existential threat, deliberately excludes nuclear and hydro. Why is that? It's my view that this is philosophical, [that some energies are seen as more natural,] and that's why they favor certain renewables and exclude others" Epstein
[12:00] “There's this idea that human impact is bad and we have to stop it, and that's a philosophical view. I think our goal should be to advance human flourishing" Epstein
[14:41] On the modern environmental movement, "it's all about the morality of eliminating human impact, and not at all about actually being concerned with reliable energy" - Epstein
[15:28] What caused the Texas 2021 power grid failure?
[17:31] “Wind dies down when it's cold most of the time and when it's really hot and that is part of why it's a very bad source of energy" - Epstein
[19:00] Is natural gas subsidised by the government?
[20:29] Climate-related disaster deaths are actually down 98% in the last hundred years. So we are actually safer from climate than ever" - Epstein
[22:40] What is the validity of the claim that rising CO2 levels are going to lead to more human deaths through natural disasters?
[23:02] “We should only trust predictions about the future from people that acknowledge the reality of the present" - Epstein
[26:10] Epstein's views on carbon taxes and who really is producing the most CO2
[28:14] Is Alex an industry plant advocate?
[29:06] What impact that humans have made is worse for us and the planet so far?
[32:51] ”Anybody that thinks nature is their friend hasn't seen horse flies in Canada. They shouldn’t exist—they’re huge and bite chunks out of you" Mikhaila Peterson
[34:37] Wrapping up with Alex Epstein

[41:32] Introducing the second guest - Dr. Andrew Dessler
[42:47] Is climate change real? What are the primary causes?
[43:03] “Climate change is definitely occurring, I think there's very little argument of that at this point" Dessler
[44:00] “Carbon dioxide since pre-industrial (or before 1750) when humans started burning fossil fuels, has gone up [by] 40%, and that’s entirely due to human activity" Dessler
[45:15] What’s the best way to stop or slow climate change?
[46:37] Are green energy sources more expensive for the consumer?
[48:45] “There is no reason to continue a fossil fuel economy except for the power that fossil fuel producers have in our political position" Dessler
[49:20] Is nuclear power viable?
[50:35] What caused the Texas 2021 power grid failures?
[53:15] What about claims that carbon taxes will mostly impact the middle and lower class in America, making them less financially stable?
[57:50] “There are some businesses where the very rich owners are not going to be able to recover from switching off of fossil fuels and those are the people who object" Dessler
[58:00] What % of bad CO2 emissions are coming from America? Are we the bad guys in terms of CO2 produced?
[01:00:15] Is renewable energy easy to store?
[01:05:00] Is climate change responsible for the natural disasters in recent years?
[01:10:06] What happens if we really put all our efforts behind switching to renewable energy now?
[01:11:30] Climate change is no laughing matter
[01:13:48] Which countries are doing the best to combat climate change? - https://skepticalscience.com/
[01:18:45] Using hydrogen fuel cells to store energy
[01:20:05] Most renewable energy source?
[01:21:50] Wrapping up with Dr. Dessler - https://skepticalscience.com/
[01:22:00] The question is not ‘were fossil fuels good’—of course they were. The question is what future do we want to live in?" Dessler

This episode is sponsored by NordVPN, go to https://nordvpn.com/TMPP and use code TMPP for 73% off + a bonus gift!

In this episode of Opposing Views, I was joined by Peter Schiff and Robert Breedlove to discuss Bitcoin. We covered a range of topics like decentralization, the US dollar, and the risks involved with cryptocurrencies becoming increasingly popular. Both guests gave their opinion on whether Bitcoin is better than gold as a value standard - a prickly question because you have to consider, among other things, market forces, security, scarcity, inflation, and the potential for a new financial crisis.

Peter Schiff is an American economist, stockbroker, financial commentator, and author. He is one of the few unbiased investment advisors (not committed solely to the short side of the market) to have correctly predicted the current bear market and to have positioned his clients accordingly. He's also renowned for his accurate forecasts on the US stock market and economy, as well as the mortgage meltdown, credit crunch, and subprime debacle. Schiff is the CEO and chief global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital Inc. You may also recognize him as a frequent guest on national news or as the host of the Peter Schiff Show Podcast.

Robert Breedlove is an ex-hedge fund manager, philosopher, podcaster, and advocate of cryptocurrencies - especially Bitcoin. He describes himself as a freedom maximalist whose mission is to "cast light on the corruption of money." Breedlove is the CEO and founder of Bitcoin consulting firm Parallax Digital. He also hosts the "What is Money?" show, where he engages in deep conversations with some of the world's most prolific thinkers.

[13:02] Is there a way to make crypto a practical, spendable currency for the average person?

[24:44] Exploring the possibility of a gold standard cryptocurrency
[27:50] Peter Shiff's advice for people considering Bitcoin as an investment

123. How Men Can Instantly Look More Attractive | Tanner Guzy
53:45

In this episode, I spoke with men's style coach Tanner Guzy. With the focus on male fashion shifting dramatically over the last few decades, Tanner thinks a lot of men need a sense of direction, and that finding a style of one’s own is an essential part of self-expression. In Tanner’s words, there’s a need for “aesthetic literacy” that isn’t quite being fulfilled.

We covered several topics related to men's fashion, such as how personality is expressed through style. We talked about suits and shoes. The changing aesthetic of Western culture and masculinity. The three archetypes of male fashion: rugged, refined, and rakish. We also went into short tangents about Guzy's personal life, his joys as a father, and his time spent as a missionary for the Church of Latter-day Saints.

Tanner Guzy is a men's style coach, author, and TEDx speaker. His goal is to help boost men’s confidence and attractiveness by upping their fashion game. He is the author of The Appearance of Power: How Masculinity is Expressed Through Aesthetics.

122. Opposing Views: Gun Control | Dan Gross & Dr. John R. Lott
01:26:17

Welcome to episode 122 of the Mikhaila Peterson Podcast. This is another opposing views episode where I speak with two people who have opposing views on contentious subjects. This is my favourite format of episode and one I’ll be focusing on. In this episode, I spoke with Dan Gross and Dr. John R. Lott about gun control in America.

We discussed their stances on gun control, assault weapons, the gun show loophole, and background check laws. I asked them whether states with stricter gun control have less gun violence. We also touched on straw purchasers, misconceptions regarding gun violence, and how politics has pervaded an already complicated debate—which is one of the reasons we need conversations like this one.

In the first half, I sat down with Dan Gross. After his brother was wounded in the 1997 Empire State shooting, Gross left a bright career in marketing to become a gun control activist. He has since worked to raise awareness on gun safety, spearheading campaigns that teach gun owners to mitigate risk. Gross is the former president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and co-founded the Center for Gun Rights and Responsibility.

In the second half, I spoke with gun rights advocate, economist, and political commentator John R. Lott. He has worked for Yale, the University of Chicago, and the U.S. Department of Justice under Trump. He is the founder and former president of the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC). John Lott has published op-eds in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and more.

Remember please keep the comments civil - organizing these episodes is tricky and I really love doing them I think they’re so interesting so let’s keep things civil so that more people will agree to come on. Next week's episode is opposing views on Bitcoin. I hope you enjoy this episode - if you do please hit subscribe. Enjoy your week!

100. Mikhaila Peterson Q and A
26:51

It’s my 100th Mikhaila Peterson Podcast episode day. I can’t believe it. I’m releasing a Q and A in a few hours to celebrate. It would’ve been a fancy episode with some famous person but the last month has been crazy and I couldn’t manage it. So you guys get lil ol’ me talking to myself.

This last year was really tough with family health struggles. It’s still tough. It was a hard year for a lot of people and I cannot thank you guys enough for listening and commenting and sharing and supporting me.

These podcasts have taught me so much, and have given me a break when I really needed one. They’ve allowed me to connect with experts in almost any field. It’s been a lot of work but it doesn’t feel like work. (Except setting up a studio which feels a lot like work and I’ve done in multiple different countries. Never did I think or want to get good at tech. I hate setting up a studio 😬).

I couldn’t have done it without Andrey Korikov watching my childling, helping with crazy personal situations and letting me carve out time to work on the podcasts, on top of everything else I do.

I couldn’t have done it without Eric Foster doing production. He offered to help me last year and pushed me to start a podcast in the first place, producing episodes for free at first. I wouldn’t have managed to get started without him. I didn’t have the capacity.

Ben Wallace has been creating graphics, doing social media, monitoring all my projects, helping create websites (working on merch!) Reminding me to do things, pushing me to get content out.

There are other people who have contributed for sure but I thought these guys deserved a special mention. Thank you all so much. Also thanks @Matthew McConaughey for coming on because wow Matthew McConaughey came on. :D

83. The Dangers of Psychiatric Medication | Dr. Jim Wright & Dr. David Cohen
01:13:07

SSRI withdrawal - something I didn’t know existed - gave me the worst psychiatric symptoms I’ve ever had for more than 2.5 years after I suddenly stopped taking them (not aware that you had to wean and that they’re dependency forming). If I hadn’t had the diet I’m on (the lion diet) I don’t know what I would have done. It was like I was in hell. Then almost right after I recovered my dad almost died from psych medication. I brought two experts on - Dr. Jim Wright and Dr. David Cohen - to discuss the actual reality behind psychiatric medications and pharmaceuticals and dependency and withdrawal and suicide. This is an episode everyone should listen to if they or a loved one is on psychiatric medication or considering one or acting strange after being medicated.

I’ve linked a film you can watch for 6$ until May 31st as well to learn more (at least go there to check out the trailer and the message from the woman behind the film). This information could save someone you know:
https://watch.showandtell.film/watch/medicatingnormal-mikhailapetersonpodcast

Dr Jim Wright is a clinical pharmacologist. He has a PHD in pharmacology from McGill and spent his career studying prescription drugs. He explains how there are no long term studies of these medications and that we don’t actually know much about what prescription drugs do to patients.
Dr. David Cohen isn author, professor, and Associate Dean for Research and Development at Luskin School of Social Work, UCLA. Dr. Cohen’s research looks at psychoactive drugs (prescribed, licit, and illicit) and their desirable and undesirable effects.

This topic is discussed in great detail in the new documentary Medicating Normal for those interested in a perspective from informed experts on the actual dangers of medication.

69. Carnivore Anecdotes
01:41:31

This episode makes me quite nervous because these stories don’t sound believable, even coming from someone who’s spoken about my “Lion Diet" or the “Carnivore Diet'' I straight up would not believe these stories if I had not lived through an experience that was similarly unbelievable.

I have information on the diet for free on https://www.facebook.com/groups/theli... and scattered around my website - mikhailapeterson.com

In this episode, I interviewed four individuals that have had insane transformations on a carnivore diet here are their stories. Take them in whatever way you want to, it sounds insane but it fixed me as well. Once your joints disintegrate you are willing to try just about anything.

Opposing Views: Abortion
01:14:41

Welcome to episode two of opposing views. This one is opposing views on abortion. I was joined by pro-life activist Lila Rose, probably the best known pro-life activist in the US, and I was Joined by Mara Clark founder of the charity abortion support network in the UK for enabling abortion mostly in countries where it is illegal. Now I’m calling it pro-choice and pro-life because that’s what the groups refer to themselves as. I had people from both sides of the debate message me and say that it should be pro-choice versus anti-choice or no it should be pro-abortion versus anti-abortion, or no it should be pro-life versus pro-killing babies, these issues are very contentious, the point is to hear both sides.

Now, this episode was spicy, I got a bit flustered with Lila rose and went on a bit of a down syndrome rant. Now please don’t take what I’m saying here the wrong way, I don’t hate people with down syndrome, we’ll get into that later you’ll see. It’s contentious. It’s bound to get spicy.

I tried to ask similar questions to both parties and I tried to play devil’s advocate to both. Please tell me what you thought in the comments but please try to be civil to everyone involved. Finding someone to have a discussion with after I got Lila Rose was insanely hard, so thanks so much to Mara Clark. If one of the people in this episode gets destroyed in the comment the chance of having an episode like this lessens. It’s really difficult for me to find more left-leaning people to come on so please again be civil.

Visa and Mastercard dropped them for apparently hosting child pornography PornHub removed ten million videos. I decided to have a couple of people on to discuss whether or not porn and sex work is dangerous, harmful, and addictive or whether it’s a natural thing that should be decriminalized and even encouraged. I had no idea there is a war going on between pro-porn and anti-porn people and this PornHub case shed a lot of light on that. I thought it would be nice to see opposing views on a controversial topic given the fact that we are usually isolated from opposing views, which is causing serious problems at the moment.

I spoke first with Haley McNamara, VP at the National Centre for Sexual Exploitation. Haley’s nonprofit is largely responsible for bringing this issue with PornHub and child pornography into the public eye and getting over ten million videos for unverified users removed in September 2020.

The second half of the episode is with Dr. Nicole Prause, a neuroscientist who researches human sexual behavior, addiction, and the physiology of sexual response. She’s also the founder of Libros LLC, an independent research institute.

These people have pretty much completely opposing views, so it was a very interesting contrast of conversations. This is the first episode like this. Let me know if you find this opposing viewpoint type of podcast interesting, I may do more of these episodes.

--

"The snake diet has been designed to mimic the way wild animals eat. The idea is that you eat one large meal and then fast for the rest of the day or even several days.

Snakes eat one big high-fat, protein-packed meal a day, and then don’t eat for around 22 hours. The snake diet is meant to follow this.

During times of fasting, you don’t consume food or any calories. The only thing you can consume during fasting is snake juice. The snake juice consists of water, sea salt, potassium chloride, baking soda, and sulfate salts. It is intended to replenish your electrolytes. The snake juice recipe was created by Robinson himself."

Jordan B. Peterson - Family Update June 2020

Welcome to the Mikhaila Peterson Podcast, episode 9. This is a brief podcast with my dad Jordan Peterson about what happened to him and my family in the last year.

Paradoxical reaction to benzodiazepines – a condition dad was diagnosed with

Akathisia - something dad really really really suffered from - https://w-bad.org/akathisia/ - “Many medical professionals don’t recognize akathisia or that it’s a drug-induced state. Instead, they write off the symptoms as a “worsening of mental illness” or other condition. Sometimes they even raise the dose of the offending drug and when the patient’s condition worsens as a result, they may prescribe more medication which can sometimes further exacerbate the problem or that fail to offer relief. If the medical professionals you encounter are ignorant about akathisia or attempt to blame it on “something else”, present them with medical information on the condition or search until you find a knowledgeable physician.”
