The Catechism of the Orthodox Church by St Philaret of Moscow, consisting of the Shorter and Longer Catechism, is a masterful exposition of Christian truth, rich in Holy Scripture and theological conciseness. The listener is led in a step-by-step course in the basic and deeper elements of Christian faith and life,according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the apostolic teaching set forth in the New Testament.
