Description

This podcast series is presented by Professor Lyria Bennett Moses as part of her course LAWS3040 Regulation for Cybersecurity.

This course is an opportunity for interdisciplinary study in understanding cybersecurity, computer security, cybercrime and the principles of engineering secure systems alongside the legal and regulatory framework that surrounds this.

LAWS3040 Regulation for Cybersecurity is best understood in the context of COMP6441 Security Engineering & Cybersecurity taught concurrently by Professor Richard Buckland.

Lyria Bennett Moses is Director of the Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation and a Professor in the Faculty of Law at UNSW Sydney. Lyria's research explores issues around the relationship between technology and law, including the types of legal issues that arise as technology changes, how these issues are addressed in Australia and other jurisdictions, and the problems of treating “technology” as an object of regulation.
