This show is about the wonderful wildlife, landscapes, people, culture, food, & travel experiences of the diverse country of Ecuador. Host Judy Carvalhal is a 40-year resident of the Galapagos Islands & Mainland Ecuador, where she raised her family. She was one of the first female naturalist guides in the Galapagos National Park in the 1970s, and was one of the first tour operators in Galapagos. Later, Judy & her team at EnchantedExpeditions.com helped to pioneer tourism on Mainland Ecuador. Judy believes in the power of travel to transform & that without tourism, there is no conservation.
