Description

Are you a mom who is searching for something more on this journey through motherhood? Maybe you are trying to get your health back on track but you are ready to ditch the diet mentality? Maybe you are healing old wounds while learning how to be the best mama possible. You are looking for your village and guidance on how to balance motherhood with everything else. In this podcast, you will find empowerment, healing and education on all things health and fitness related. My vision for this podcast is to inspire you, Mama; to heal your deepest wounds, heal your relationship with food and your body, and live a balanced and wonderful life that you love. My name is Michelle Trent. I am the mom to a beautiful red head named Everett. I am a later in life college student and I am a certified personal trainer and holistic health coach with a passion for trauma informed training for women and moms. Over the course of my fitness career, I have worked with hundreds of people and had the opportunity to compete in various sports including bodybuilding, CrossFit, MMA and Brazilian jiu jitsu. As challenging as those things were, nothing in the world could prepare for the biggest opportunity and challenge of my life: Motherhood. Becoming a mom has thrust me into becoming an entirely new person. Where there was once a girl who struggled deeply with eating disorders, anxiety, fear and chronic burnout is now a woman who feels empowered and unashamed in her body, mind and soul. It is my hope that I can share education, wisdom and inspiration to help you grow into the Empowered Mama that you truly are.
