God also gives those who were complaining for meat what they asked for, but it came at a price.

Journey Towards the Promise Land - The Book of Exodus

A God We Can See? - The Book of Exodus

In this Bible Story, Israel falls into the slavery of idols and sin. They erect a Golden Calf in place of the God that freed them from slavery. Episode 41: At the foot of the mountain, the people of Israel become frightened once again, and in their fear, they forgot the very God who just spoke to them. This causes the wrath of God to rise again, but Moses, up on the mountain, makes intercession for them.

Episode 34: Everyone who had sought Moses’ life were now dead and God commanded Moses to return to Egypt to liberate His people, Israel. After this, God called Aaron out from Egypt to meet his brother, and the two of them together delivered God’s message to the people of Israel.

A Conversation with Fire - The Book of Exodus

Episode 33: Moses, now a grown man, walks out among the land one day and sees an Egyptian beating a Hebrew. This causes anger and indignation to rise within him, and so he takes action by killing the Egyptian. Thinking no one had seen him, he was shocked when he was accused of murder while breaking up a fight the next day. This caused Moses to flee from Egypt, and for the next 40 years, he lived as a shepherd in the land of Midian…until one day, God spoke to him through the blaze of a burning bush, changing his life forever.

Baby from the Nile - The Book of Exodus

What started as a group of 70 people developed into a nation. A new Pharaoh had arisen who neither knew nor cared about what Joseph had done for his people. All he knew was that this nation of foreigners was growing, and he felt threatened. And so he schemed and devised laws to stop these people from growing. But in the middle of his cruelest edict yet, throwing the firstborn sons into the river, one floated. Carried by a basket right into his own household, Moses was saved and adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter.
