Dentistry can be lonely. Nekky Jamal and Akhil Chawla believe there is so much more to dentistry than what meets the... mouth. They want to talk to dentists about their everyday struggles and how they deal with them. THIS IS NOT A CLINICAL PODCAST — they want to learn from dentists and the wonderful people with years of experience serving the dental industry.Nekky Jamal and Akhil Chawla are the hosts of the Hi, I'm Dr. podcast. They have both spent years working in dentistry, but in vastly different ways. Nekky has spent years building a running Wayside Dental, a successful 21-op practice in Lloydminster, Alberta. Nekky developed the award-winning course, Third Molars Online, teaching dentists the art and science of extracting third molars. Akhil was a management consultant with a "big 4" consulting firm in his past life. He now occupies his time struggling through dental school and helping run Sage Dental Partners, a practice transition advisory firm that helps dentists sell their practice.
