I’m Brett Orchard, and welcome to Brett Orchard’s Old Time Radio Show — a little corner of the internet where the lights go down, the modern world can wait, and some of the greatest stories from radio’s golden age come back to life.

Three nights a week, I’ll be here with a carefully chosen classic, a little friendly Brett chat, and some good old-fashioned late-night company.

If you love old time radio, classic radio drama, vintage mysteries, suspense, comedy and espionage, you’re very much in the right place.

Along the way you’ll hear favourites including Suspense, Sherlock Holmes, Dangerous Assignment, Hancock’s Half Hour, Dad’s Army, Philo Vance, Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, The Man Called X and plenty more treasures from the archives.

For many listeners, the show has become part of the evening routine — something to put on when the day is done, the house is quiet and you fancy escaping into another time for a while. Whether you’re listening in bed, working late, travelling, or simply enjoying a quiet drink at the end of the day, you’re always welcome here.
