Description

Many modern parenting podcasts focus on external factors, such as routines and discipline, while forgetting that each child is unique, and that parent–child interactions, such as attention, touch, talk, and play, influence the development of our children’s brains—and have a lasting impact. This book provides a more individualised perspective on parenting and caretaking and how to bridge the gap between the best advice with the reality and complexity of being a busy and stressed person in today’s digital world. It is about how to master parenting using a neuroscientific understanding while presenting everything in an easy-to-digest way so that anyone who wants to do things differently can.

The aim is to support and help you to nurture yourself, your child and others using simple tools that promote brain health using neuroplasticity. In this podcast, you’ll discover:

“Being Seen” is the key to nurturing secure relationships between parents and children. Re-parenting yourself offers invaluable benefits that not only impact your children but also echo through future generations. You can master parenting with actionable strategies for addressing challenging topics like technology and intimacy. A vital parental and life journey begins by reshaping the overwhelmed and stressed brain to prioritise health and

well-being.

Looking back, I wish I had known about the importance of carving out time and attention towards building strong serve and return relationships and learning parenting skills with my children from day one. With this book, I hope to give other parents and carers the

tools and resources I didn’t have, so they can master parenting in the digital age to then nurture their children’s long-term success and happiness. Even though I didn’t have all the answers at first, I am proud of the parent I have become and the ways in which I have

continued to learn and grow along with my children. In many ways, this book is part of that growth process.

Throughout the chapters we’ll uncover simple and easy tools that can help you break free from parenting models that have inevitably been passed down through generations—and tools that won’t require huge amounts of energy or effort.
