Welcome to The Hothouse Podcast – your go-to for discussions on books tackling the climate crisis and its related issues. The show is hosted by Issey Gladston, a photographer and journalist and Diyora Shadijanova, a journalist and writer.

We launched the hothouse bookclub in 2022 to create a space where we could dive deep into climate change topics through literature. Our London-based club meets every six weeks, and we've covered a range of books, from Andreas Malm's 'How to Blow Up a Pipeline' to Rebecca Solnit's 'Orwell’s Roses'.
