Description

Navigating the literacy world as a parent can be complicated! As a former elementary teacher, I have witnessed firsthand the literacy struggles parents and students face. Watching too many students struggle to read and spell pushed me to find a solution backed by science. As an Orton Gillingham tutor, I can confidently say ALL students can learn the language. Their journey may not look traditional but with explicit, systematic, and multisensory instruction it is possible. How would you feel if your student stopped shying away from reading and spelling? It is possible with the right instruction and a side of patience. Every Tuesday I discuss a literacy topic that will help you help your child. Each episode will include helpful tips, real-world examples, and easy to implement action items that you can start immediately.
