Ieasha Prime began her journey into Islamic scholarship after converting to Islam during her teenage years. She pursued her Islamic studies both domestically and abroad. She studied at the Fajr Institute in Cairo, Egypt, and at the renowned Dar Al-Zahra in Tarim, Yemen. Her studies included Quranic exegesis (Tafsir), Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), and Islamic spirituality (Tasawwuf), which provided her with a deep and well-rounded understanding of Islamic sciences. Ieasha Prime is currently the Director of Women’s Programming at Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Virginia, one of the largest and most active Islamic centers in the United States.
