The healthcare system often leaves patients from underrepresented communities feeling unheard and dismissed, with many struggling to access the care they need. The Empowered Patient Podcast aims to change that by sharing firsthand stories of patients navigating these challenges and shedding light on the systemic barriers they face. We’ll explore key issues like medical bias, barriers to care, and the need for patient-centered reform while offering solutions to create a more equitable healthcare system. Through these conversations, I hope to empower listeners with the knowledge and confidence to advocate for themselves and drive real change.
