Description

Taha Nomani, also spelled Taha Al-Nomani or Taha Al Nu‘mani, is a Quran reciter from Egypt celebrated for his mastery of long-breath (nafas tawīl) murattal in the Hafs ’an ’Asim riwāyah. Born on February 17, 1980 in Qallāhanah, Fayoum, he memorized the Qur’an by age nine and later became a registered reciter in the Fayoum governorate, earning respect through live recitations at events and radio broadcasts. His style is noted for its emotional resonance, sustained phrasing, and precise Tajwīd, making his voice particularly impactful during formal occasions such as funerals, commemorations, and radio programs. Taha Nomani has also performed internationally across Egypt, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and his recordings are preserved in reputable digital Qur’an archives.
