Description

The Heartwood Forest Protection Podcast is a place where we talk with people who have dedicated their lives to protecting forests. You will learn about current threats to our forests, what you can do to make a difference, and about the lives of people who make up the forest protection movement in the United States.

Heartwood was founded in 1991 and is a cooperative network of grassroots groups and individuals dedicated to protecting the public forests of the central hardwood region of the North American continent.

Intro music: "Diamond in the Sun" by Robert Hoyt, 1995 Dumpster Diving Across America.
