Hosted by the Directorate-General for Translation (DGT) of the European Commission, the DGT Podcast: Languages & Technology explores different facets of languages, translation and language technology.  DGT is one of the world's largest public translation services, providing translation and editing services to the European Commission, and AI-based multilingual solutions to EU institutions and external users, including public sector bodies, universities, small businesses. It also promotes multilingualism and supports language professionals across Europe. 

Through conversations with experts, practitioners and researchers, this podcast covers key topics such as language learning, translation, multilingual communication and language technologies, including AI and natural language processing. 

Languages are at the heart of European identity and communication. This podcast looks at how they connect people, support democracy and evolve in an AI-driven world.
