Description

The Hotelligence Podcast explores how hotel operators across different markets and property types navigate incidents, uncertainty, and risk in environments where liability, expectations, and tolerance for action vary widely.

Hosted by Don Carr, who has owned and operated private security companies serving hotel properties, and Jim, a retired federal investigator, the podcast focuses on the space between awareness and action — where many real-world hotel decisions quietly live.

Rather than offering tactics or prescriptions, the show examines how structure, neutrality, escalation, and decision-making responsibility are understood differently across hotel categories and markets, and why the same approach does not apply everywhere.

The podcast is organized into seasons, each with a clearly defined scope.
