The Laughta Likes Show is a weekly English-language radio and podcast series from MBC LOUD, hosted by British Arab artist and producer Laughta. The series introduces global audiences to the artists and creative leaders shaping Saudi Arabia and MENA's contemporary music landscape through intimate conversation, music discovery, and cultural storytelling.
Drawing on Laughta’s background as an international artist and creative storyteller, each episode offers a focused, human portrait of a guest’s creative journey, exploring craft, identity, and ambition through a globally accessible lens.
Across the season, the show brings together a wide and carefully curated range of voices, including a Saudi female promoter building the country’s heavy metal scene from the ground up, a four-piece all-women Arab psychedelic rock band from Riyadh, genre-defining singers and songwriters working across languages and traditions, and globally recognised producer Che Pope, who is actively collaborating with emerging artists in Saudi Arabia.
Grounded in lived experience and creative practice, these conversations create a genuine platform for cultural exchange, inviting audiences to engage with the creativity, ambition, and energy shaping the Saudi music scene today.
