Welcome to the Anglican catechism podcast with me Fr. Elmer Miguel. Do you know why we say the Creed every day? Is it important to pray the Lord's prayer? Do the 10 Commandments still apply to us today? These are questions that impact Christians from every tradition, place, and age. The catechism helps us to answer these questions. The word catechism means instruction. From the beginning of the Church, new converts to the Christian faith were devoted to a period of instruction given by their church leaders. It was a period of 1 to 3 years in which the catechumens, the new Christians, were
