Do you ever feel that your prayers are falling into a rut? While the freedom to speak to God about whatever is on our hearts is a great privilege, F. B. Meyer, a contemporary and friend of D. L. Moody, realized that at times our extemporaneous prayers may be difficult to frame, lack freshness or become repetitive.
