In 1994, an air-conditioning-unit-installer and a small-time radio DJ joined together to create the largely popular radio duo Opie & Anthony. With a career spanning more than 20 years, they were loud, they were obnoxious, they were in your face, they wouldn’t let up. They started as brothers. They ended as enemies. But unlike other entertainment duos that break up, a full audience had the opportunity to listen into their relationship every day, and watch as it gradually crumbled.
