In what was the earliest recorded Arni's Birthday Zoom, we caught up with former Boilermaker quarterback Elijah Sindelar at 5:15 a.m. local time to jump on today's (June 27, 2022) 26th birthday celebration. Sindelar, who now lives in the Bowling Green, Ky., area and works as an electrical engineer for Logan Aluminum, has been married for two years to Aly, and the couple has a 10-month-old son Ezekiel. Sindelar talks about how he keeps his competitive mindset after spending so much time as a three-sport athlete growing up just 90 minutes away from his current home in Princeton, Ky. He shares his insight into Aidan O'Connell, his optimism for the 2022 season, and how the games he played in the car with his dad growing up helped him hone his skills to what he does today.

Stephanie White is a living legend at age 45 and today (June 20, 2022), she shares her thoughts on her life, family, Purdue experience and more. Living in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood, Tenn., with her three boys and partner. She talks about the challenges of coaching in today's world and reflects on what the last couple of years have taught her. Of course, White's legendary athletic career started in West Lebanon, Ind. and went through Seeger H.S. to Purdue and into college coaching and the WNBA. The 1999 National Player-of-the-Year helped lead Purdue to its only team sport national title in its history when the Boilermakers finished off a 34-1 season by winning it all.

Simpson, a 6-foot-4 inch receiver from Indianapolis (Cathedral H.S.), talks about playing on the Rose Bowl team, that fateful game against Wisconsin that paved the pay for the Boilermakers to get to Pasadena (thanks in big part to Simpson's 30-yard TD reception from Drew Brees) and much more.  Simpson, who played for coach Joe Tiller from 1998-01, was a highly recruited athlete and was a two-sport player, not all that different from fellow east-sider David Bell. Now working in the construction business and living on the north side of Indy, Simpson is married to his wife Erin, and they have a five-year-old daughter Avery.

Arni's Birthday Zoom: Lee Brush

On his 48th birthday (May 19, 2022), Lee Brush gives an honest and thoughtful portrayal of the highs and lows of his football experience before and after his days as a Boilermaker (1994-97). . Brush was recruited to Purdue by coach Jim Colletto as a 5-foot-10, 183 pounds defensive back. A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Brush made an impact early in his career, returning a fumble 85 yards for a touchdown in his freshman season (1994) and started 20 games in the Boilermaker defensive backfield. After a junior year where he almost transferred from Purdue and found himself not in the lineup, Brush became a leader on Purdue's resurgent defense under first-year coach Joe Tiller helping the Boilermakers to one of their best turnaround in its football history. Brush, who graduated from Purdue with a civil engineering degree, now works in the facility construction industry in Scottsdale, Arizona and lives with his wife and two teenage children.

Bobby Riddell appeared in 84 games for the Boilermakers under coaches Gene Keady and Matt Painter and was part of the Boilermakers' resurgence on the hardwood which included three NCAA appearances and a Big Ten Tournament title in his senior year . The former walk-on and local product who played at Harrison H.S., Riddell is an accountant for the Purdue Research Foundation, is married with three boys and serves as a radio analyst for Boilermaker basketball. On the 66th anniversary of his birth (Feb. 24), we commemorate the life and times of Eugene Parker. The former All-Big Ten guard, who passed away in 2016, touched the lives of so many people both in and out of sports. In today's special Birthday Zoom, Parker's son Brandon, and former Boilermaker student-athletes Walter Jordan, Jerry Sichting, Mike Steele and Rod Woodson share their memories that played a significant role in their lives. Jordan, Sichting and Steele were teammates of Parker's when Parker was a four-year starter for coach Fred Schaus from 1975-78. Like Parker, Woodson, who hailed from Fort Wayne, Indiana, utilized Parker as his agent during Woodson's Hall-of-Fame NFL career. Yet, all of the relationships with Parker transcended sports.

We celebrate birthday No. 64 (Feb. 17, 2022) with the former Boilermaker linebacker (1977-80) Mike Marks. As key player on Purdue's "Junk Defense", Marks, a native of Chicago where he played at Leo H.S., was recruited to Purdue by Alex Agase but thrived under coach Jim Young. One of 10 children, Marks started 19 games in his career as an inside linebacker, including all but one game his senior year. A retired health care services executive, Marks spends much of his time in Florida in the winter months.

We celebrate birthday No. 27 with Danny Ezechukwu (Dec. 7, 2021) who was a mainstay at linebacker for Purdue appearing in 45 games for the Boilermakers under coaches Darrel Hazell and Jeff Brohm from 2014-17. The Lithonia, Georgia native compiled 216 career tackles, forced and recovered four fumbles, had 16 career tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks . He played a key role in a resurgent Boilermaker defense in his senior season of 2017, when Purdue posted a winning season and a Foster Farms Bowl win over Arizona. Ezechukwu, an Industrial Management major, lives and works in sales in the Dallas Metroplex Area for Rev.com and follows Purdue's sports teams very closely. He and his wife Arielle have two sons, Tariq and Zayeed (who makes a cameo appearance in the Arni's Birthday Zoom).

Tony Visco celebrates birthday No. 58 today as we caught up with him while he was on business in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife Valerie are making his way to the Lafayette area to visit daughter Charlene to celebrate the next few days. Visco arrived in West Lafayette in 1983 and promptly redshirted. He made a splash in his debut in 1984, helping the Boilermakers beat Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan en route to earning a Peach Bowl bid. Visco finished his career in West Lafayette with 351 tackles, which still ranks No. 10 in Purdue annals. Visco's 210 career solo tackles are No. 17 in school history. And his team-leading eight sacks in 1987 still rank No. 14 in a single season in Boilermaker record books. The 6-4, 235-pound Visco was the No. 4 overall pick in the 1987 draft, getting tabbed by the BC Lions. He went on to play in the CFL from 1988-91, toiling for Toronto, BC, Saskatchewan and Hamilton before retiring. Visco, a native of Mississauga, Ont., has called Chattanooga, Tenn., home for over 11 years. He is the operations manager for Louisville Tile of Chattanooga.

David Nugent turns 44 today (Oct. 27, 2021) and we celebrate the big day with the Boilermaker defensive tackle who roamed the Purdue sidelines from 1996-99. Nugent was a somewhat unsung in the days of Rosevelt Colvin, Chike Okeafor and Matt Mitrione, but was an important part of the Boilermakers' dramatic turnaround. A converted tight end from the Memphis, Tennessee area, Nugent bulked up and became a mainstay of the Boilermaker front in the first three seasons under coach Joe Tiller that was made even more notable by two career "scoop and scores" in wins against top-five ranked teams: No. 4 Kansas State in 1998 and No. 5 Michigan State in 1999. Nugent was a sixth round pick of the New England Patriots and he talks about his notable roomate, Tom Brady, and what paying on a Super Bowl Champion team meant. Still living in the Memphis area, Nugent is in medical sales and lives with his wife and three children.

Arni's Birthday Zoom: Former running back Edwin Watson

Edwin Watson turns 45 today (Sept. 29, 2021) as he is enjoying his work and family life as a real estate executive living in the Indianapolis area. A native of Pontiac, Michigan, Watson ranks seventh in school history in all-time rushing yardage and he played a huge role in his senior year of turning the Boilermaker program around in coach Joe Tiller's first season at the helm in 1997. He also played for the Green Bay Packers after his Purdue days. Watson has been married for 20 years and works closely with his wife in their company EEE Realty. They have two sons, ages 13 and 11, and the family will spend Watson's birthday, at least in part, at football practice.

Arni's Birthday Zoom: Former quarterback Joey Elliott

Joey Elliott turns 35 today (August 2, 2021) and we caught up with him in the middle of a busy work day with the Indianapolis Colts. Elliott is a scout for the NFL team and is building a name for himself in the NFL. Elliott played quarterback at Purdue from 2006-09, but didn't earn his first start until his senior year. In that season, Elliott led Purdue to an upset of No. 7 Ohio State while throwing for over 3,000 yards and 22 touchdowns. He played his best football down the stretch completing over 70 percent of his passes in his last three games including a stellar four-touchdown passing performance in a Bucket win in his last college game. Elliott, an Evansville native, also played for Winnipeg, Ottawa and British Columbia in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 2010-14. Ian Allen turns 43 today (July 22, 2021) and we caught up with him from his home in the Minneapolis area where is works serves as senior manager of strategic partnerships & new business development for Target and lives in the Minneapolis area. Allen was an offensive lineman for the Boilermakers from 1996-2000 and shared his stories of playing for position coach Danny Hope, what it was like to run on the field at the Rose Bowl and what motivates him in his job with Target. He started nine of 12 games in his senior year at right guard on one of the best Boilermaker offensive lines ever. Allen played in the NFL for the Giants, Eagles, Falcons and Cardinals in addition to NFL Europe and the CFL. On that Boilermaker 2000 offensive line, LT Matt Light, LG, Gene Mruczkowski, C Chukky Okobi and RT Brandon Gorin all spent significant time in the league. And entrepreneur, Allen has also started careers in music, broadcasting, and business and has his MBA as well.

Arni's Birthday Zoom: Former men's basketball standout Jimmy Oliver

Jimmy Oliver turns 52 today (July 12, 2021) and we caught up with him from his work near his home in the Akron, Ohio area. Oliver was a first team All-Big Ten forward in 1991 under Coach Gene Keady, coming to Purdue from Menifee, Arkansas. The 6-foot-6, swing player, appeared in 90 games as a Boilermaker from 1989-91, and averaged an impressive 19.2 points per game his senior year. He was a skilled shooter who often utilized bank shots, with one of his defining moments coming on a game-winning shot to beat defending national champion Michigan in Mackey Arena his junior year. Oliver played professional basketball until 2007, and was the Cleveland Cavaliers 39th overall pick of the '91 draft. He played two seasons with the Boston Celtics in 1993 and '94 and with a handful of NBA teams. In the latter part of his career, Oliver played in Europe, an experience he treasures. Oliver now works at Summit County (Ohio) Juvenile Courts and is a case manager. He expects to spend his birthday, which he says are usually low-key, with his two daughters.

Arni's Birthday Zoom: Former place-kicker Ben Jones

Ben Jones turns 39 today (July 7, 2021) and we caught up with him from his home in the Indianapolis area. Jones, the Boilermaker place-kicker in 2003-04 transferred to Purdue from Butler and immediately posted the most prolific season in Boilermaker annals. Not only did Purdue sophomore Jnes have the most outstanding season ever by a Purdue kicker in 2003, he had one of the best in Big Ten Conference and NCAA history. The walkon from Zionsville, Ind., made 25 of 30 field goals, a success rate of 83.3 percent. He set Purdue records for field goals made and percentage, topping the marks of 22 and 81.5 by All-American Travis Dorsch in 2001. His most famous kick as a Boilermaker? How about his' 18-yard field goal with three seconds remaining gave Purdue a 26-23 win at Wisconsin on Oct. 18, 2003. It remains the Boilermakers' most recent win over the Badgers. In addition, Jones tied the Big Ten season record for field goals, shared by Remy Hamilton of Michigan in 1994 (30 attempts), Dan Nystrom of Minnesota in 2000 (37 attempts) and Mike Nugent of Ohio State in 2002 (28 attempts). Arni's Birthday Zoom -- Boilermaker guard Maynard Lewis

Maynard Lewis turns 42 today (July 3, 2021) and he took some time while vacationing in Florida with his family to share his big day with us. Lewis still lives in his hometown of Terre Haute and serves as Terre Haute South's basketball coach, while working in pharmaceutical sales in Bloomington. Lewis was South's all-time leading scorer coming out of high school in 198, and has been South's head coach since the 2016-17 season. A 6-foot-1 guard, he took his talents to Purdue after graduating from South in 1998 and averaged 6.7 points per game over four seasons with the Boilermakers, including 9.9 ppg as a junior (2000-01) and 9.5 ppg as a senior (2001-02). He graduated in 2002. Lewis didn't play a lot before his junior season, but as a sophomore, he sparked the Boilermakers off the bench by sticking some key jumpers in wins over Oklahoma and Gonzaga.

Arni's Birthday Zoom -- Boilermaker forward Justin Jennings

Justin Jennings turns 47 today (June 25, 2021) and he took some time while vacationing in the Appalachian Mountains of Georgia to share his big day with us. Jennings, who now lives in the Youngstown, Ohio area, recalled his favorite Gene Keady saying, his birthday memories and the thankless job of guarding Glenn Robinson in practice. And of course, no interview with someone who played hoops for the Boilermakers in the 1990s would be complete without talking about the Three-Pete run from 1994-96, which Jennings played a key role in from the forward position. Jennings, who came to Purdue from Grand Rapids (Michigan) Central H.S., appeared in 119 games for the Boilermakers, drawing 17 starts, all in his junior year. Blessed with great leaping ability, Listed at 6-foot-6, 198 pounds, he was known for his spectacular dunks. He averaged 5.3 points for his career, and 8.2 in his senior year.

Danny Dierking made the most out of his time as a Boilermaker running back from 2007-10. And today (June 15, 2021) we caught up with him on his 33rd birthday. Now living in Nashville, Tennessee, the proud father of two girls under the age of 18 months is busy with family and his career with Stryker. In our Arni's Birthday Zoom, Dierking talked about his playing days, the closeness he still has with his teammates and how happy he is for Purdue that assistant coach Mark Hagen is on coach Jeff Brohm's staff. As a Boilermaker, Dierking played in 48 of 49 games, with 14 starts from 2007-10 and did not redshirt. Played multiple positions including running back, fullback, wide receiver, and played on all the special teams. From 2007-2009 led the team with over 30 special teams tackles. Was Academic All-Big Ten four years in a row and led the Boilermakers as a senior into the 2010 as a captain and led the team with 718 all purpose yards. Dierking is a legacy at Purdue, as his dad Scott was an All-Big Ten running back in 1976 and played in the NFL for the Jets and Bucs.

In between flights back to his home in Texas, we caught up with Rock Supan in the Detroit airport to celebrate birthday No. 64. A native of Parma, Ohio, Supan started 25 games in the Boilermaker defensive backfield from 1975-78, and was a standout on Purdue's "Junk Defense" in Supan's junior and senior seasons. Despite his prowess in the defensive backfield as a hard-hitter, Supan is probably best known for the game-winning field goal he made that helped Purdue beat No. 1 Michigan in 1976. In fact, Supan, who was the backup kicker to regular Scott Sovereen during Supan's sophomore year, has the rare distinction of having two fourth quarter game-winning field goals in the same year, having delivered Purdue to a win at Wisconsin a month earlier. Supan also talked about the challenges of playing for defensive coordinator Leon Burtnett, who passed away on May 31 and how since he has learned to appreciate his former coach. The proud grandpa of four, Supan says he is a couple years away from retirement as he works in facilities for a local school system.

We celebrated Tommie Thomas' 31st birthday with a Zoom call from his home in the Miami (Florida) area. The ever-positive Thomas shared his important work with the Foundation that bears his name and also his Boilermaker experience. He also spoke about his mother's battle with cancer and how he enjoyed his experience working with the Purdue Challenge 5K during his days as an undergrad. The Robbins, Ill., native came to Purdue in 2008 as a safety but finished his career as a receiver. He was one of the Boilermaker bright spots in a Heart of Dallas Bowl loss to Oklahoma State on New Year's Day 2013, which also happened to be Thomas' last game. He caught a touchdown pass from his college buddy Robert Marve, among the many former teammates he stays in contact with to this day.

As a senior in 2003, he starred, making 14.5 sacks (second most in school history). Phillips garnered second-team All-American accolades and was a first-team All-Big Ten performer that season. Phillips is still No. 2 in all-time sacks at Purdue with 33.5. And he is No. 3 in Purdue history in TFLs with 60.5. Phillips started 49 consecutive games in West Lafayette . Phillips enjoyed an 11-year NFL career. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL draft by the Chargers, playing nine seasons in San Diego. He played for the Broncos in 2013, a team that reached Super Bowl 48, and spent his final season in 2014 with the Titans and Colts. Phillips finished his NFL career with 81.5 sacks. His best season was 2010, when he made 11 sacks and earned a spot in the Pro Bowl. Phillips has a son who is playing football at Sam Houston State and will be squaring off in the FCS national title game on Sunday.. He also has twin 14-year old boys and a 3-year old son.

Jane (Calhoun) Schott celebrates her Cinco de Mayo birthday with us. Schott has been integrally involved with Purdue women's basketball as a player from 1988-92 as as a color radio color analyst with Tim Newton, a position she has held since the mid-1990s. A long-time teacher and coach, Schott currently heads the girls basketball program while working as assistant athletics director at West Lafayette High School. Her "day job" is capably teaching chemistry and science for the Red Devils. Schott is married to Tom Schott who worked in Purdue athletics for decades and now serves a role at the University in Strategic Communications. Son August is graduating this summer from Purdue and Sam is graduating this year from West Side and plans to play football at Illinois Wesleyan this fall.

Special guests are Mike Alstott, Akin Ayodele, Jim Bonk, coach Jim Colletto, Rosevelt Colvin, Marion Griffin, Don Kiepert, Mike Phipps, and Perry Williams. The football connections on our guest list on this video are these: Leroy Keyes' was Alstott's position coach during Alstott's senior season (1995). Colletto, who was Purdue's head coach from 1991-96, hired Keyes as the position coach. Colvin, who was recruited by Colletto spent his freshman and sophomore seasons with Keyes on the sidelines. Colvin and Ayodele developed life-long friendships with Keyes grown from Keyes' mentorship during Colvin and Ayodele's playing days. Jim Bonk was an offensive lineman and blocked for Keyes in 1966 and '67, Kiepert and Phipps were the quarterbacks in Keyes junior and senior seasons (1967-68), Griffin was the tight end and Williams was Keyes' backfield mate. But as you will discover when listening, football was just part of the story of the ties that bound Keyes to these former Boilermaker players.

Lamar Conard celebrates his 44th birthday today and shares some inspirational stories about his birthday tradition growing up, Joe Tiller and Leroy Keyes. The former Boilermaker defensive back (1996-99) became coach Joe Tiller's first walk-on to earn a scholarship. Conard, a native of Elkhart, Ind., was a starter in 1997-98 and tied for the team lead in interceptions Purdue's dramatic turnaround season of 1997. He now serves as the running backs coach for Miami University and has been with the RedHawks program for four seasons. Before that, Conard was on coach Brock Spack's coaching staff at Illinois State for nine years after serving as a GA in Tiller's last two seasons (2007-08).

Campbell was a three-year starting quarterback from 1980-83 and still ranks sixth all-time in passing yards (7636) and his 516-yard single-game effort is fifth best in school annals. He also played in the NFL for the Steelers and Falcons and has spent the last three decades as a co-owner of a real estate business.

The Lagrange, Ga., native talks about getting recruited to Purdue, some great stories about his fraternity brother and quarterback Drew Brees and his fellow offensive linemen, and much more. Niedrach, who now lives in Fishers, Ind., with his wife and two children, is a sales executive and shares some of the things that his Purdue experience provided him.

We share Ryan Berning's 54th birthday today chatting with the former Boilermaker forward who played a key role in some of the most successful teams in the coach Gene Keady Era. Berning, who still lives in Lafayette, the hometown he grew up in, talks about what he is doing now, how he learned his professional edge in part by playing for Keady, staying in shape, what it was like to play for Keady when the coach was on a diet and much more. Berning was a two-year starter for Keady in 1989 and '90, but was a key reserve on the Boilermakers' back-to-back Big Ten title teams in 1987 and '88. He appeared in three NCAA Tournaments as well and used his 6-foot-9 inch frame as a standout perimeter scorer and rebounder. He averaged 9.1 points in his senior season in a lineup that included classmates Tony Jones and Stephen Scheffler. He and his wife have six children and 10 grandchildren and he balances a busy home and family life with his managerial role with Franklin Pest Solutions working in both the Indianapolis area and Lafayette.

Everett Pickens was a diminutive, but highly productive receiver for quarterback Scott Campbell and coaches Jim Young and Leon Burtnett in 1981 and 82, respectively. At 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, Pickens  was a big-play receiver averaging an impressive 17.8 yards per catch as a Boilermaker. A junior college transfer who did not play high school football, Pickens was recruited by Burtnett out of Los Angleles Southwest Junior College, a school that produced  Boilermaker standouts Steve Bryant and James Looney.  Pickens says the highlight of his 62nd birthday (celebrated on March 24), will be calls he receiives from his two children. He has enjoyed a professional career as a self-proclaimed entrepreneur, and has recently been involved in acquiring a Cleveland community newspaper an increasing its reach to southern California while providing jobs for kids. Philanthropic in nature, Pickens is also involved in  Power-2Empower and Empower on the non-profit side. He resides in the Los Angeles area.

Former Purdue football player Calvin Williams celebrates his 54th birthday with us and shares his observations about Boilermaker athletics past and present.  He serves as  associate athletics director, and is member of the senior administrative staff and serves as sport administrator for six programs: men's and women's cross country, men's and women's track & field, women's volleyball, and wrestling. In addition, Williams oversees several initiatives at Purdue that involve gender equity and minority enhancement, including the assistant coaches development series and diversity programs. Williams, a four-year letterwinner at wide receiver for the Boilermakers from 1986 to 1989, returned to his alma mater as assistant athletics director in 2011. He was promoted to associate athletics director in 2013. Williams still ranks among the Purdue career leaders receptions, receiving yards  and  receiving touchdowns.  He was the Boilermakers' team Most Valuable Player his senior season and played for multiple years in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens.  He and his wife, Charese, have three children: Jonah (former FB walkon), Sydney and Rachel.

P.J. Thompson celebrates a milestone birthday today (Feb. 24) as shares his thoughts on growing up in a basketball household, his role on coach Matt Painter's coaching staff, the challenges of excelling as a freshman and much more. After an outstanding Purdue career, Thompson is in his second year as a graduate assistant. His role includes opponent scouting, film breakdown, helping with individual workouts and administrative duties as he breaks into the collegiate coaching ranks. Thompson spent the the 2018-19 season playing professionally in the Netherlands after being a three-year starter from 2016 to 2018. He currently ranks second in career assist / turnover ratio (2.94), is 10th in career 3-point percentage (.404) and 15th in career 3-pointers made (161) at Purdue. He appeared in 137 games, the eighth most in school history and helped Purdue to a 104-37 record and the 2017 Big Ten Championship during his time with the Boilermakers.

We caught up with Ryan Isaac this morning on his 29th birthday from his home in Northwest Indiana. Before joining Purdue athletics, Isaac worked as a youth behavioral counselor a special education teacher and high school assistant football coach, and in brand management with LW Branding in Chicago, He earned his bachelor's degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue in 2014.         Isaac was named assistant director of development - Varsity P within the John Purdue Club in June of 2019. We caught up with Jim Wood bright and early (California time) on his 68th birthday from his home in Santa Clarita, Calif. Jim was recruited to Purdue out of Chesterfield, Mo. and was a two year starting safety for Alex Agase in 1973 and '74. He also was a punt returner as well. He was a key player in one of Purdue's greatest upsets in its history, the 31-20 thrashing of defending national champion Notre Dame in Sept. 1974. Wood shares his memories of that game, being recruited to Purdue by Dale Samuels and much more. Wood, a Krannert grad with an Industrial Management degree, is retired after a lengthy career in operations management, but still does consulting. He has lived in California for 41 years with his wife and former Silver Twin Randi and they have raised two children and recently became grandparents.

Mike was a high school standout from Robinson, Ill., and key role player as a Boilermaker guard in the 1970s, including playing for the Boilermakers' 1974 NIT title team. After that, he made his mark as a college head coach at DePauw and East Carolina. He has spent a three-decade career running his insurance business in Greenville, N.C. where he still works and lives yet still maintains many close ties to his alma mater and the sports world. Steele, who survived a bout with COVID-19 this past summer talks about all the things he is thankful for. That includes his family, especially son Drew who thrives in the world with Down's Syndrome, Boilermaker basketball, surviving harrowing experiences while flying with basketball and much more.

In his current role, Bloom serves as the program’s point person for scheduling and team travel, while also assisting in recruiting efforts and coordinating the team’s weekly schedule. He also oversees Purdue’s team of undergraduate student managers. Bloom has worked with Hall of Fame coaches Gene Keady, Mike Krzyzewski and Roy Williams, as well as current Boilermaker head coach Matt Painter. He and his wife, Monica, have a daughter, Lucy, and a son, Charlie.

The former Boilermaker forward who scored over 1200 points at Purdue from 1997-00 and participated in two Sweet 16s and and Elite Eight, now is a very successful high school basketball coach in northern Virginia having won state titles in 2018 and 2020. Robinson, the father or a 13-year old boy and 11-year old girl, talks about his Purdue memories, his basketball relationship with his wife Michelle Duhart (a starter and lockdown defender on Purdue's 1999 NCAA Women's title team), what he learned from Gene Keady, what it is like to celebrate your birthday on New Year's Eve and much more.

Former Purdue standout Keaton Grant (2007-10) turns 34 today (Dec. 8,. 2020). We caught up with him on his special day to find out what the former four-year starter and team MVP (2008) is up to. Grant played professionally for nine years, has written a book and is now working sales for Eli Lilly. He is the father of three kids under age 6 and talks candidly about his life balance, social justice and how much he enjoyed playing at Purdue.

Wallace, who played running back and defensive back for Purdue from 1982-1985 enjoyed a multi-year NFL stint and  has lived in the Nashville, Tennessee area since 2004 and owns a property management business (Compass Property Management). Wallace manages multi-family and single-family housing and small commercial properties throughout middle Tennessee. He is married with two kids. His son (Vaughn) is 26 and  daughter (Payton) is 16, and he has a granddaughter who is 6 (Sophia).
